But sometimes you feel so exhausted - like you are losing yourself. You get irritable, frustrated… or you feel lost, like you don’t know what to do to help others or yourself.
You’ve tried figuring out what others need and trying to provide that. You’ve tried taking better care of yourself but self care begins to feel like just another task… and you are already overwhelmed! It can feel like the more you give, the more is asked of you.
You really want more playfulness and more enjoyment in your life and relationships.
You try so hard and it doesn’t feel like enough…
You may be trying too hard. You may be helping others in a way that leaves your own needs out. And it can feel like the only other option is to leave their needs out - and that feels selfish. This can be very disheartening.
There is another way. A way in which you can be there for your loved ones and those you work with without losing or sacrificing yourself.
Our bodies and minds are made to connect with each other. This natural process is called Embodied Attunement. This is our most primary need. When we can find this attunement with one another, everything else begins to work itself out: solutions arise on their own, difficulties ease naturally, we feel more ease and enjoyment... We find ourselves knowing just what to do right there in the moment. It feels like magic when it happens…and in a way it is.
But we can’t find this experience through our thinking mind. And it can feel like a crap shoot whether it happens or not. So we often rely on our thinking mind to try to make things better relationally and it doesn’t go well…
The good news is that Embodied Attunement is a skill that can be practiced and developed. We can tap into our social circuitry and experience how attunement happens naturally.

In this 5 week class we will explore and practice each of these 5 qualities and how they work together to give us the experience of attuned connection. These relational practices will help us find more ease, more enjoyment and more confidence in our ability to respond well, even when things get challenging.
And as part of this training in Embodied Attunement you will receive two private sessions with Melanya to give you personalized practices that are just right for you and what is happening in your life.
